It's been a very long time since I had a place to dump my thoughts. The last time I had a blog was over 10 years ago, and the last place I dumped my thoughts was facebook, but I won't use that anymore. In fact, the only real reason I had facebook was to chat to my then-girlfriend. For those who are close to me, that says something about my morals, doesn't it?
I did enjoy having a blog 10ish years ago. And people seemed interested in what I had to say. I wrote the blogging software myself, too. It was a lot of fun. So, what changed?
I don't know how exactly, but I had come to think that people may not be so interested in what I have to say, but this last year or so I've slowly (re-)learned, that I do have interesting thoughts from time to time, and that occasionally people might like to know about them. So, after a few whiskeys, here I am.
And besides... Having your own corner of the web isn't really a thing anymore. I think that's worth bringing back. To write this post I am logged in to a web server (which I physically control!) and editing the HTML file directly... I'm not saying it's a good idea, but when's the last time anyone you know did that? Making personal webpages is fast becomming a lost art.
As for the video and title of this post... For whatever reason I find it fun to think of you reading my thoughts as me putting my thoughts in your head; in a way, my thoughts get to see the inside of your head. And, as best I understand it, "tchyo, nakhren" is something like "What the fuck", which seems like an appropriate reaction to me having a blog again.
PS: Sorry for the auto-playing video. But come on... don't you miss this sort of thing on the web? 😂 And hey, HTML media is pretty amazing now - hover over it for controls. Teenage me would have lost his shit at how easy this was to do!
PPS: If you want to watch the video on YouTube, here is it. I try to minimise opression here.
